George Erwin Hawks' Obituary
George Erwin Hawks was born on October 1, 1954 and passed away on Tuesday May 2, 2023 at the age of 68. He is survived by his sister, Karen Hawks and brother Tony Steadman. While he had no children of his own, he had 2 nephews and one niece.
He was an avid reader, loved music, and of course all things sports. Track & field was his first love both as a participant as well as a follower of local track stars that went on to do exceptionally well in college and/or the Olympics.
Although he had few friends, he had good friends! He was a firm believer in God and is with him now.
George will be missed by all those who knew him.
