To Marilyn, Mark, Scott and family, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I came to know George as a man who loved God and family, and I had great respect for him. Patty and I always enjoyed our time with him and Marilyn. During Patty's illness, George was always quick to call and check on her and cheer her with his wonderful sense of humor. To Marilyn, Mark and Scott and their families, we are so sorry for your loss. As a child I loved the fact he was always smiling and joking (that sense of humor was like no other) and used to love it when you all would come to Colorado with both of your parents. Those are some of my happiest childhood memories. Dan and the kids came to love Uncle George as much as I always have and we all enjoyed our visits with him through the years. We will miss him as I know you all will. He was a kind, gentle, and sweet man who will not be forgotten. We are thankful he is at peace and reunited with so many loved ones.
