Georgia Ray Parrish's Obituary
Georgia Ray Parrish, 84 of Ranger, Texas passed from this life on Monday June 5, 2017. Georgia was born in Garland, Texas and she graduated in California. Georgia battled cancer for several years and was cared for by her daughter and son-n-law, Sheila and Lawton Williamson of Ranger, Texas and Alpha Omega Hospice. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents Willie Ray Parrish and Georgia Annie Belle Smith, a brother Kenneth Smith. Her survivors include her three daughter’s Vicki Sommers, husband Louis from Irving, Texas. Shelia Williamson and husband Lawton from Ranger, Texas. Donna Mumford and husband Ronny from Ft. Worth, Texas and twelve grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. We were so blessed to be at our mom’s side holding her hands when she went to be with the Lord. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend will be missed very much and will always be remembered and we know she is in a better place and at peace. To honor her life a memorial will be held at Restland Funeral Home in The Abbey Chapel, Dallas, Texas on Saturday July 8th at 3:30 PM. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
