Dan'L, Gerald Dee, Tim, D'Anna - We are so sorry for your loss of Gerald. He was such a great man. My brothers and I remember many family trips to Lake Lavon for swimming, water skiing, lots of fun and laughter. Gerald will be missed by us all. We hold you close in our prayers. My best memory of Gerald is when he, Dan'l, and the kids would come over to our house every Christmas Eve. Our Dad (Dan'l's Dad) would tease Gerald all night long about bringing his own "Budweiser" beer. Gerald just laughed and took it all in stride. He was always very kind to me as a child as well.
Sadly, as an adult I never got to spend any time around Gerald. Our blended families were not that well blended. But I have only good memories of him coming over every Christmas, and that my Dad really thought he was a good family man, especially to have married his daughter so young. Obviously he was, proven by a lifetime of devotion to Dan'L and all the family. My thoughts and prayers go to you all. I regret the lost chance to have spent more time around him. I've known Gerald since 1951. We were neighbors and attended the same school. He was a true friend and will be greatly missed.
l met Gerald 1951 we lived next door to each other and went to the same high school. He was the best friend anyone could have. He was my best buddy and will be missed.
I'm sure everyone knows that Gerald has a brother (Gary Lambert) and two sisters who love him very much. He has been a close part of my life for my entire life as well as my husband and children. I'm sure he and Bobby Riddle Sr. & Jr. are drinking a cool one in Heaven. Loved my Bubby.
