I considered Gary a good friend and a dedicated Masonic brother. We served together on the Grand Lodge of Texas' Gift of Life Committee for a number of years, and he was dedicated to those Blood Drives that benefited the Scottish Rite Hospital of Dallas. Gary organized and led the blood drives held at the gun shows around Dallas. He was one of the most inspirational men I have known, always making others feel better, even during his final days. He called me only a week before he passed, just to ask how my wife and I were doing. Masonry has lost a fine brother, who will be remembered for a long time. Sincere condolences to Gary's children and other family members on your loss.
