Those of you that knew Gerald Hubbard, knew “Hub”.
Many things in life come in threes. There are some like friends, desires, and memories. We had a great friend in Hub, he led a Christian life like we desire, and we will have wonderful memories forever of Hub.
When we moved to San Antonio many years ago, Hub and Barb welcomed us with such love and friendship. They made us feel like we were close family and had always been a part of their life group.
We enjoyed many times with Hub and Barb; being together at church and at life group meetings in their home when Hub shared his knowledge of the scriptures. Hub displayed his love and care for others by leading worship services for the residents at the Esplanade Care Center.
We also had special times when we would go to breakfast with Hub and Barb on Saturday mornings on the River Walk in San Antonio. We would share stories, thoughts, wishes and lots of good food.
A friend like Hub is hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget. We never will.
