Gerry will be greatly missed by all of us who were lucky enough to be touched by him and his grace and kindness. It was a sudden occurence. I guess this is the way it always is. I for one of many; wish I had more time to sit on the porch and swing and chat with Gerry. His many interactions with my Mom are fondly recalled and the respect and admiration that they shared for one another was real.
