What a great lady. Had the pleasure of working with her at 2 companies for many years. Her smile lit up a room but she also could get everyone's attention when needed. Prayers to the family....glad I got to be part of her mortgage history!
Beautiful service today. Great memories of working with Gloria at Nationstar where we officed side-by-side for two very busy years. She was tireless, but my favorite memory is how she cared for her employees and mentored them. When Gloria started her career in the mortgage world, there were so few women executives. She truly believed in providing a "hand up" to those who followed, and nothing pleased her more than to see her mentees grow and succeed as professionals. She was also so very proud of her family, and her love story with Fred was not ended by his passing. My deepest condolences to the family.
I had the great pleasure of working with Gloria at CTX for many years and learned much from her. She had a passion for doing things right and for giving us the tools to figure that out. Compliance was never a dull topic when Gloria presented. Aside from that, I recall a time when she was a fearless race car driver for what I'd call the Munster mobile that we had to design, build and get across the finish line. It ended up being too long and unstable for anyone but Gloria to drive. She lived to tell about it. Our paths crossed on the Big Island in 2004 and I wanted to share a photo or two (if I can figured out how to upload). Prayers for your family.
