Dot, Nigel, and Michelle Melbourne purchased the My Fair Lady for the family of Gloria June Stanley "GiGi" "Aunt Glo" Perry.
I met Gloria in the mesquite library when she wanted to be a member of the Daughter of the American revolution (DAR). We became friends while we worked on her papers and after she was a member we kept in touch either at meetings and then later she would always come by were I worked to say hello. She was such a special lady and will always be remembered by many, my thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
Everytime I would travel home to Texas usually twice a year from Illinois. Me and my mom (neighbors across the street) would say ok lets go visit with Gloria…for about 10 minutes…those ten minutes would always grow into 30 or sometimes an hour…it was always fun catching up and talking about old times…gonna miss those times!

So sorry to hear of Gloria's sudden passing. I will miss her dearly and loved her so much. I will always treasure my memories of her. I have been in Ireland is the reason that I was not there for her service. Love and prayers to her family, I know that you will miss her. Billie Kunkel
As my sister Loretta has already mentioned, Gloria and Perry were our neighbors on Derby Lane since 1954. They were the best of neighbors. I can still see she and my Mother talking over the fence as Mother hung the clothes on the line. She was so good to my parents as they began to age. I will remember so many things growing up on Derby Lane. There were the Radneys, the Perrys, the Rosenquists and a few other families and we were like family. What a wonderful time and place to grow up; with neighbors who watched out for each other. They are all missed and she will be too! My condolences to both Scott and Craig and their families whom she loved so very much. Sue Radney Lichtenberger
