I worked with Mrs. Popejoy in Hoblitzelle Nursing Service after graduating from nursing school in 1977. She was the first payroll clerk and administrative assistant I ever worked with as we served Judy Ball, Director of Nursing. Mrs. Ball just went to Heaven in the Spring so I am sure she and Mrs. Popejoy are enjoying laughs about now. Mrs. Popejoy was always so proper and distinquished. We had a great team and I learned so much from that group. 44 years later I still appreciate the ethical way she handled her job and explained difficult situations to us. She loved her family and was a great role model to me. I am sure her family is proud of the legacy she left.
