After all these, this still breaks my heart. Greg is a very happy memory of mine from my carefree childhood. He was my older step brother and looking back as to how well he looked after me and included me in his activities and life, I’ll always love him. He did not have a mean or selfish trait in his character. In fact, he was generous to a fault. Greg knew how to make anything fun - like making peanut butter and syrup sandwiches, putting coins on the railroad tracks, catching crickets, staying up all night watching old scary movies, riding in the back of our dad’s pickup, or just exploring camp sites and skiing. Nearly every happy childhood memory of mine has Greg and my stepmother, Joyce, at the center of it. Greg, what an adventure your life was and thank you for giving me so many happy memories. I’ve shared many of these memories with my daughter and she loves the silly stories of her uncle Greg. You have truly been a blessing to anyone gifted with opportunity of knowing you. Now, that I’m an old man myself, I treasure these memories more than anything. Love you, Greg. Thank you!!!
