Gwen was the love of my life. Always was, always will be. I think you could say that we fell in love with each other in high school, where we each played in the band, she the flute, me the clarinet My family moved away from South Bend in 1957, after I graduated. Sadly, we each went our own separate ways.
I've always hoped she had a happy life, and have wondered often about that.
