My name is Susan Jacob Garcia. My father, James Edwin Jacob III, had a special friend during his early years in Dallas, Texas, by the name of Gwendolyn Elizabeth Tey. It is my hope that your Gwendolyn and my father's friend are one and the same. I am uploading an image of Gwendolyn and my father. It is a lovely image and should be shared.
Gwen was our dear friend and we will miss her very, very much. We had the pleasure of living next door to this wonderful, strong, kind and gracious woman. We remember her bright blue eyes full of life and cheer. We would come and get Skyler their dog to walk and she would always greet us at the door with a smile and those sparking eyes!! We had so many great conversations we talked about the past, the present and the future. She had a beautiful way of just seeing life in a clear and to the point way, when I was troubled and shared my troubles she would say something so profound that I was like yeah you are right and I would see things more clearly. How blessed we are to have known and have had Gwen in our lives, the good lord places people in your life when you need them and we were so fortunate to have had Gwen in ours she taught me so very much and gave us both so much love. She will forever be in our hearts and minds. To Cindy and her family you were so blessed to have this amazing woman and I know you will all miss her so very much as all who have known and loved her will.
