Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever.
My mom & I moved to Plano about 2 decades ago and we've been eternal neighbors with Hanh & Frank since! Hanh has watched me in my journey through middle/high schools, college, pharmacy school, and beyond. She was a true neighbor and was always there to assist with anything whether it was looking after my cats when I was away on vacation, helping me to dispose of rat bodies I'd found in my shed (I was too afraid to do it on my own..), helping to close our water system when my outdoor faucet burst out of the wall during a cold front, you name it. It was such a comfort to know I had such kind caring neighbors and dear friends who were always there for me!
Both my mom (Hanh Nguyen) and Hanh Truong were peas in a pod when it came to gardening. They loved it so much and shared a huge passion for it. Hanh would bring all sorts of flowers to our house to plant in the garden and they'd bloom magnificently each spring. The iris flowers bloomed in different colors each year and the spiderworts were my favorite! She took me to explore a friend's iris garden nearby and she also showed me a neat little spot to take bluebonnet pictures during peak season. Her love for flowers and kindness to others was always so joyous and uplifting.
I'm happy my fiancé had gotten to meet Hanh a few times as well. She truly was a special person, always so warm, humorous, fun, and such a kind heart. We're going to take some of the flowers to plant at our new house so we can always have a reminder of her nearby!
Rest in peace, Hanh <3
You are loved beyond words and dearly missed.
Though you're gone, your light will never fade and we'll remember you forever.
