I worked with Harold at Riverside Press. He was such a nice man and a joy to work with. Prayers to the family and friends of Harold.
Harold and I were only casually acquainted for many–maybe 20–years. His illness occasioned us opportunities to become fast friends. What a fine guy ! His gift to me was helping me realize how much we had missed by not knowing each other for many years. It's a great life lesson. I'll always remember our times together.
We had many good times with Harold and Emily, including Harold's 65th birthday in Terlingua, Texas. What a hoot that was! He was a fine man and a good friend, with a great sense of humor. We will miss him. Joe and Barbara Zimmerman
Harold was one of the most likeable persons I ever met. He and I worked closely together when I was in the corporate world at LTV as well as on the staff at Riverside and later when I joined Dresser and Halliburton. He was always very professional and calm and we had a close personal relationship, keeping up with sports and our families. Jim Basham
Emily, you won't remember me but we met on a few occasions. I was one of the many PR people who dealt with Harold over the years. He was one of the nicest and most decent human beings that I've had the privilege to know. Les Wells
Good morning, pretty Emily, Wanda and i are saddened by the passing of one of the finest men we have known. As you know, Chico and I were pledge brothers in the prestigious Talons….and later fraternity brothers in the Talons and Kappa Alpha fraternities. He was a low key leader in everything he was involved in. He was our beloved president. A great friend since 1952….64 years. Give our love to all of your Family Wanda and Jim Nicholson
