If you did not know my Aunt Hazel, you missed knowing a great woman of God. She had talent in so many areas of her life that many will miss her for so many different reasons. Not only did she work outside the home for many years, she raised and cared for her daughters and husband. She made the best banana cake ever made! She could make a quilt with her church quilting club that would bring hundreds of dollars and she always was up to keep the nursery or make something to take to a home when someone was in the hospital or had "gone on home". Just 2 years ago at Dad's 90th birthday party, (she was older than he), Dad asked if she could still dance. He stood up and wiggled around a couple of twists by his walker and she stood up beside him and started doing a Charleston step! It brought down the house!! That was Aunt Hazel….always a surprise up her sleeve. Have fun, Aunt Hazel – dancing on the streets of heaven with Uncle James and Our Lord and Savior Jesus.
