Hazel Cummings Browning's Obituary
Hazel was born May 22, 1920 in Bailey, TX and passed away December 7, 2015 in Mesquite, TX at the age of 95 years old. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James A. Browning; her parents, Eva Magers Cummings and Willam Herman Cummings; her sisters, Dassie Miles, Marie “Rea” Green, Clara “Chig” Rogers, and Cloyce “Coy” Briggs; her brothers, Howard Joe Cummings, Floyd “Foggie” Cummings, and Billy Ray “Rooster” Cummings; numerous nieces, nephews, and special friend, Carson Hale. She is survived by daughters, Sheron Gore and Terri Browning; brother, Denzle “Cotton” Cummings and wife Jacqueline; sister-in-law, Lillian Dodson; grandson, Hayden Gore and wife, Lisa; great-grandsons, James and Jude Gore; several nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends. Family will receive friends from 5pm – 8pm on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 2pm on Thursday, December 10, 2015, in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
