Helen was a beautiful lady who loved and served Jesus. She touched many lives at the Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church and she firmly supported her pastors among which I numbered. Thank you, God for the life and witness of Helen Karnes.

I lived next door to Miss Helen for 5 years on Blue Valley. She was a beautiful person inside and out, the best neighbor anyone could ever have and I have missed her so much. My grandson Michael and I went back to see her a couple of years ago and planned on going back to see her again and never made it. We will regret that forever.. Michael thought there wasn't anyone like Miss Helen, he stayed with me a lot and always wanted to go see Miss Helen. She made quite an impression on my 6 year old grandson. He's almost 20 now and still talks about Miss Helen and how nice she was and how he missed her . We both loved her a lot One summer Spencer was staying with her and he and Michael played a lot that week. Michael remembers Spencer and the fun they had and missed Spencer when he had to leave to go home. Our thoughts and prayers will be with your family during this difficult time.
