I have such fond memories of visiting with Jack, Jean, Jenny and Jeffrey (and Aunt Mabel)during the summers in Grand Prairie…and when they would come to New Mexico for a visit. I loved Jack's sense of humor and how he would make everyone laugh. He was a wonderful person and we will miss him so much. I know he's up in heaven now visiting with my daddy, Granny and Pa. One of the fondest memories that we have shared was when I was little you would take me to the cafe inside the pharmacy down the street from the shop in downtown Grand Prairie, to eat breakfast and you would show me off to all your friends. I cherished Saturday mornings. Breakfast with you and Saturday morning cartoons equals perfection. I love you so much Papa. I will miss you. Until we meet again. Please watch over me. What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful man. Jack was a very kind and generous person. He had a wonderful talent…he would make your "very favorite shoes or boots" look brand NEW!! The love him and Wyona had was wonderful and oh how he enjoyed her cooking!! They were each truly blessed to have 53 years of love with each other. And his family meant so much to him. And oh goodness, everyone remembers him with his sidekick Benji..he loved that dog. We send our sincerest condolences to each and every person and member of the family who was blessed to have known him. We will miss you "neighbor" and "friend" but we"ll watch over your love until you two meet again.
