Henry J. Bramhall's Obituary
Born March 29, 1920 in West Dallas, Texas; passed from this life Monday March 9, 2009 in Mansfield, Texas, with his loving family by his side. “Jack” proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII in France and Germany as a medical techinician and cook. He was present at the Battle of the Bulge and during the liberation of Daucha concentration camp. He was a businessman and craftsman “deluxe”, owning many shoe repair establishments from Indiana to Califronia and back hom to Texas. He was owner and proprietor of Bramhall’s Boot & Shoe Repair in downtown Grand Prairie, Texas for over forty years. Dad was a people person and his kindness touched everyone he met. He loved being around friends and most of all his beloved family. He loved the outdoors and bass fishing. He was admired for his ability to catch fish, almost at will. He was a member of Turnpike Church of Christ in Grand Prairie, Texas. Henry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Wyota Bramhall; son, Jeffrey and wife Lucy of Grand Prairie, Texas; daughter, Jenny Lanford of Addison, Texas; and granddaughter, Lindsey Bramhall of Red Oak, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Wednesday, March 11, 2009. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 12, 2009 in Restland’s Wildwood Chapel.
