I just remember Herb being around in my youth. He and Pat were definite mainstays.
Pat and family. This is Bill Owen in Ardmore, OK. I want to express my condolences. I greatly respectd Herb and you during those early years of all of us growing up in the Orthodox Baptist Church.
Pat, your family was very speciall to me and Gayle. Bill and Barbara were so good as youth leaders in our church and you were fun and enthusastic as a member of your youth group.
May God give you peace and the comfortate of knowing we will all see and meet Herb again.

So many wonderful, fun, memories of the eight of us traveling together. Painted churches, Cane River, San Antonio, Round Top Antique weekend, Salado, Gruene, Taylor, and many more over the years. Good times with the best of friends. Herb was Herb, he liked a good discussion, he was very proud of his sons, loved Pat and treated her like a queen and he adored his grandchildren, so very proud of their accomplishments. Herb walked his faith and he fought the good fight. Herb will be missed for sure.
