Rev. Herman Woods Sr.'s Obituary
Rev. Herman Woods Sr., a resident of Lewisville, Texas entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 12, 2015. He was born July 27, 1929 in Boley, Oklahoma and the seventh child born to his parents. He retired as a railroad inspector, after over thirty years of service at Union Pacific Railroad Company and was also a retired Baptist minister. Herman’s wife of 50 years, Eloise McLane Woods preceded him in death. However, he leaves to cherish his memory, daughter Margaret Woods Kyle, step-daughter Louise Marie Dunn, son Leonard Leroy Woods and step sons Mathis Dunn and Mark Dunn. Herman’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, March 20, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Herman will take place at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Westside Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas.
