Uncle Butch always had a story to tell especially about fishing and hunting, and he always told his stories with humor. I will always remember him telling those stories and will always remember him talking about his fishing and hunting stories. I loved listening to him tell those stories and loved him showing his catches. He liked to joke around and always made everyone laugh. I know he is smiling down now and laughing with aunt Vondane and uncle Jim and he is in a better place. He will definitely be missed. Rest in peace Uncle Butch ❤️🙏

Pops was a picker, he loved getting a rise out of you. I loved sitting by the water, just hangin out. He gave me such a love for crappie fish fry.
I loved how he loved animals. I always trusted him with mine and they loved him.

Uncle Butch was my favorite Uncle (shhhh don’t tell the other ones 😉) I am going to miss you terribly. I know you’re no longer with that terrible disease and you can now bother Aunt Vondaine and Uncle Jim up there. I hope you get to see Kevin. ❤️ You were always the cool one, never took any crap from anyone. I love you very much! And we will all look after Aunt Betty. Rest easy Uncle Butch. 💙

Love my oldest brother so much. He was so good to me when I was a child. When I was a child we all lived in an old house that only had two bedrooms. My 3 brothers shared a room and I slept with Butch (Homer). He always said he didn’t need a heater since I kept him warm. I think it was the other way around. We did not have heaters or AC in that old house. He was a good man and tried to be a good father. He didn’t really have a role model since his father left the family early on leaving our mother to care for all 5 of her children. I know he loved all his children, and they loved him. Betty was a God send for him and I am more than grateful for all she did for him though out their marriage and especially towards the end when dementia took over his brain.
