Susan and I are deeply sadden by this news. Even though I am now 71, I could never call him Homer. To me, he will always be Mr. Thornton, a servant after God’s own heart and a man of deepest integrity and honor.
Dear Peggy, Homer was like a ray of sunshine when I would see him at church - always so pleasant and friendly. I am really going to miss him. My deepest condolences to you.
