Mr. Houston Clifford Simmons, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in Irving, Texas. He was born on Wednesday, August 29, 1928, to his loving and thoughtful parents, Boyd C. Simmons and Dixie Scoggins in Paris, Texas. Mr. Houston Clifford Simmons will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.Houston is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Nell Brians Simmons; brother, George Simmons and Wife Lynda Simmons; son, Ricky Brian Simmons and Wife – Betty Simmons, grandson, Andrew Simmons; great-granddaughter: Emily Randall and Husband – Chris Randall; great-grandsons, Dartagnan and James Brians; grandson: Daniel Simmons; great-grandson: Christian Fincannon; son, David Roy Simmons and Wife – Gail Ann Simmons; granddaughter,Julie Hohman and Husband – Jon Hohman; great-granddaughters, Violet and Lillian Hohman; grandson, Jeff Simmons and Wife – Amy Simmons and many cousins, family, and dear friendsThe family will receive guests on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Plymouth Park Baptist Church, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM at Plymouth Park Baptist located at 1714 Story Road, Irving, Texas, 75061.
