Hsiang-Huei Lynn Yieh's Obituary
Our beloved mother, Hsiang-Huei Lynn Yieh, went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2024. She was born in Tainan, Taiwan, on January 19, 1942 to the late Dr. Ting-Dong Lin and Mrs. Zhu-Wei Wu Lin. Mom is reunited now with our father, Chi-Wei Kevin Yeh, her husband of 30 years, and her parents, brothers and sisters in Heaven.
Mom was a member of Chi-Nan Presbyterian Church in Taiwan, Formosan Christian Church of Dallas and Collin County Chinese Fellowship Church. She faithfully served as deacon, Sunday school teacher and usher. For many years, mom was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and preschool teacher. She loved studying the Bible, doing jigsaw puzzles, making origami crafts, gardening, cooking and feeding the people she loved. She is the biggest cheerleader for her grandkids. In spite of her health this past year, Mom continued to inspire and bless people in the community of DaySpring Senior Living. She said hi and waved to everybody, learned and enjoyed playing bingo, hanging out with her friends and never wanted to miss any fun!
Mom’s absence hurts but her memory will always make us smile. She was such a blessing to the people around her, and her warm smile and kindness will be missed by all of us.
Mom leaves behind daughter Beatrice, her husband Billy Tseng and their children Brianne and Brian, son Chris, son Ching-An, his wife Yilie and their children Nina, Inna and Ian, daughter Tracy, her husband Xiao Deng and their children Kyle, Trevor and Erin.
A service celebrating mom’s life will be held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday, December 29th at Taipei Chi-Nan Presbyterian Church, followed by a burial service at New Taipei City Jinshan Peace Garden in Taiwan. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to American Heart Association (heart.org) and Day Spring Senior Living (dayspringal.org), in memory of Hsiang-Huei Lynn Yieh.
