“Lynn” Hubert O. Echols, 77, Born August 25, 1938 in Garland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Lynn was a loving husband, father and grandfather who cared about his family and friends. Lynn served in the Navy from May 1, 1956 – August 24, 1961. He was an accomplished country music singer and performer for many years. Lynn was a brick layer by trade then he retired as a HVAC Installer and Mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his pets. His all-time favorite hobby was raising pigeons for competition flying. Lynn is survived by his wife Shelia, 8 children, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 brother. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 27, 2016 at The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Burial will take place following the service at Sacred Heart Cemetery Mausoleum, 3900 Rowlett Rd, Rowlett TX 75088. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
