Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Rosie and Arnie, Debbie and Hazim I was saddened to see Illa Mae passed away but I am reminded I am not looking at death the same way God does. Some of my happiest memories are the times that Bob and I shared with Arnaldo and Ill Mae. We ate out frequently for a season. I am in an assisted living facility in Mt. Pleasant and am doing well. School food doesn?t have to be awful. Mrs. Cavazos made sure that the Woodrow Wilson High School cafeteria offered dishes that students liked. I actually preferred cafeteria food to a sack lunch! My sympathy is extended to Arnie and Rosie, their children Arnold, Heather, and Peter, and their families. I love you all. Hugh Blevins
I was so sorry to hear of Ila Mae's passing. She will be missed. I can't help but think that she is right where she would feel she belongs, though…next to Arnold. It was with much pleasure that I got to know Ila Mae and Arnold while I was his caregiver. They both will remain in my warmest memories. Please accept my deepest sympathy, Sherri Beazley
