Ilse Helene Crumpton 's Obituary
Ilse Helene Crumpton, age 91, of Grapevine, Texas passed away peacefully on December 18, 2019 surrounded by family and loved ones.
Ilse was born to the late Rudolf and Eva Krebok in Bielitz, Poland on November 5, 1928. She married Dollis “Duke” Crumpton June 27, 1964 in Dallas, Texas, before making their home in Irving.
Ilse was preceded in death by her husband, Duke Crumpton and brother, Walter Krebok. Ilse is survived by son, Brent Crumpton (wife Sue), grandchildren, Kristina, Michael and Zane, step-grandchildren, Matthew and Olivia Gordon of Grapevine, Texas; daughter, Kara Whillock (husband Jay), grandchildren, Jake, Luke and Zack of Southlake, Texas; step-children, Scott, Lance and Rochelle Crumpton of Lawton, Oklahoma; and sister-in-law, Inge Krebok of Vienna, Austria.
Ilse enjoyed traveling with Duke, Walter and Inge throughout Europe and Africa. Before retiring, she worked as an executive assistant at Penland Distributors (Quality Beverage). She was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers, enjoyed attending White’s Chapel, participating in Tai Chi classes and never turned down a nice glass of wine. Her greatest joy was spending quality time with family and friends.
Ilse was laid to rest at a private graveside service on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, TX.

A memorial service honoring Ilse’s life will be held on January 10, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake, Texas.
