Judi Altstatt-Allen
Jo, I met your mom for the first time one Sunday after church at your house here in Allen. I brought her a big jar of daffodils with a ribbon around it. She loved them so much she drove them around in her walker. The next spring I took her a vase of daffodils to her room and she kept them so long they were dried. Never mind that! She thought they were fresh and new! I took Samuel to visit her one day when he was about 4. Samuel took some toy trains with him and kept telling her he could hear the trains coming from the next room. She agreed with him–even found some trains in the painting on her wall where there were really no trains to be found–and made train noises that all the residents could hear! Your mom was fun to know and you have been a kind, loving and devoted daughter. You will be in my prayers! With love, Judi
