Very little in this world made me happier than to look up and see Aunt Joey, Aunt Bunny, Aunt Flora and my Mom (Ronnie) pulling into my driveway! They showed up for everything from gymnastics competitions to baseball games and everything in between!!! They were what family is all about. Joy that Aunt Joey is having an amazing reunion with Uncle Ken and Steve and her much loved siblings.
Aunt Joey was so gracious to open her home to me when I needed a place to stay while working a temporary placement job in Dallas while I was living in Paris. She gave me a warm welcome and made me feel like her home was my home and we had a great visit. She and my other Aunts would come to visit my Dad which was her brother, J.W. Larkin, whom she referred to as "Jay." They were always cheerful, happy and glad to see him/us.
