I was so sorry to read about your loss of your Mom. I have the fondest memories of Irma and John Dodd. My dad Bill Dallape and John worked together at Centennial Liquor Store. My parents and the Dodds would barbecue on weekend's. This is how I met their son and daughter David and Jan. We became friends and that friendship continued off and on for 30yrs. As teenagers Irna would run rough shot over us teenagers in a way only Irma could! She was a dear friend to my family. Irma was a fierce protector of her family and anyone close to them. Irma was there for me when I lost my parents and she did alot of hand holding for me to vent and grieve. I will always love her for that. Back in the 70's Irma always got her hair done on Saturdays when Big Texas hair was in and on Saturday night my parents and John and Irma would go Polka dancing at the Sokal Club on lower Greenville Ave. Irma was a great lady who spent her whole life taking care of others.
