I hope this isn't too late. Being a friend of Frederick's since Jr High School, I knew of Jack as a strict hard ass of a father. I did not understand why, until I became a veteran myself. I am so sorry for the passing of Jack… I knew him from JCPenney back in the late 80's. I worked directly beside him at nights and as a young adult (24 yrs old) that I was – Jack seemed such an interesting older man and I always thought highly of him. He told me of some of his times in the Navy and also the rent houses he had that he rented out to people. I didn't know everything he did in life but from reading about him it looks like he lived his life to the fullest!!! God Bless… Sam Gardner
