Jacqueline E. Palmer, 97, of Richardson died January 22, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. She was born October 20, 1921, to Aaron and Beatrice Horn in Dallas, Texas.She married George T. Palmer, Jr on December 7, 1947 in Dallas, Texas. She was a homemaker and church/community/hospital volunteer for over four decades.She is survived by her sisters Gladys McGuire of Carrollton and Betsy Zern of Austin, nephews Jim Shepherd (Phyllis) of Bedford, Joe Horn of Coppell, Jim Horn (Mary) of Sanger, and niece Katie Garrett (Glenn) of Carrollton.Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Aaron and Beatrice Horn of Dallas, her husband George T. Palmer, Jr. of Richardson, her brothers Joe Horn of Denton and David Horn of Richardson, and her sister Enid Fehmel (John) of Richardson.Services for this North Dallas High School graduate will be at Abbey Chapel of Restland Memorial in Dallas on Monday January 28, 2019 at 3:00 pm, with visitation at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers a memorial may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Richardson.
