My husband and I joined the DAC in the 80s. We had dinner there a few times and were seated near James and Joyce Alexander. One evening, my husband pointed out to James that we’d seen them during several of our dinners there. Mrs. Alexander introduced them. She said “I’m Joyce, and this is my husband, James”. I smiled and replied “well, I’m Joyce, and this is my husband James”.

We enjoyed their company for many years. They were both great people. We’ll miss them both.
