James always had a great sense of humor, always ready to lend a hand up to the very end. He was loved and is missed greatly. Sending lots of love to surround his family in peace and comfort.
James loved playing the drums. He was very good. His brother, Steve, played bass, and my brother, Bill, played guitar. Growing up together during high school, they formed and played in a band. They all loved it, and we all enjoyed listening to the wonderful music. I have no doubt that there is are jam sessions in heaven now.
We did not get to see James often, but when we did he was always, kind, thoughtful, and a gentleman. What I remember most was his smile. We knew James through Callie and we will always be grateful that James and Marty gave our family a wonderful niece. May he rest in peace.
