James Baskin Gambill's Obituary
James Baskin Gambill, born in San Gabriel, TX to Harry and Maida (Jones) Gambill on January 15, 1932. He Married Lovice Goodin, February 23, 1958, two sons were born to their union.He graduated from Thorndale High School, served four years in the Air Force and worked 23 years at E-Systems. After retirement he volunteered at the Friendship House for ten years until he broke his leg in 2010 and has been in declining health since that time. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, three sisters, one nephew and niece. He is survived by his wife Lovice, two sons: Dennis and wife Tina, Terry and wife Cindy, Five Grand kids Chris, “Jennifer”, Cody, “Courtney”, Chase, Kayce and Corey. Three great grand kids: Collins, Clayton, Caylor, one sister, Mary McFadden, Sister in Law, Kay and Earl Nicholson and several nieces and nephews. At this time, funeral services for Mr.James Baskin Gambill are scheduled for Tuesday 1:00 PM on December 11, 2018 at First Baptist Church – Garland with visitation being held one hour prior.
