James "Jim" Robert Kendall Jr.'s Obituary
On March 23, 2021, James Robert Kendall Jr. (Jim) passed away at his home in Plano, TX, at the age of 72, surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was born in Washington, D.C, to parents James Kendall Sr. and Louise Kendall in 1948. He graduated from W. T. White High School in Dallas, TX in 1966. Jim met the love of his life, Beverly Levo, while attending Texas Tech University. Jim and Beverly married in 1968 and spent 52 beautiful years together while creating a wonderful life for their family.
Jim had a successful 47-year career in insurance sales. He received many awards for his accomplishments in the field, including Hall of Fame, Man of the Year, Top Fifty, AXA Centurion, and Lifetime Achievement. However, Jim’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family, traveling and exploring new places with his beloved wife.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James Robert Kendall Sr. and Athalia (Louise) Nail Kendall. He is survived by his wife, Beverly, daughters Annette Rubottom and Sheri Keller, son-in-law, Josh Keller, grandsons Andrew Griffin, Nicolas, Lucas, and Marcus Keller, and granddaughter, Jacqueline Rubottom.
Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Thursday April 1, 2021, from 3-5pm, and the funeral service will be in the Memorial Chapel at Restland, April 2, 2021, at 12pm.
