Survived by son, James Oliver McCrary, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Mechas McCrary of Seattle, WA; son, Jay Blake McCrary of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Jill Patricia McCrary of Sachse, TX; daughter, Jerri Lynn McCrary, of Dallas, TX; son, John Kevin McCrary and daughter-in-law, Angie McCrary of Wylie, TX; granddaughter, Colleen O’Neill Schroen and husband, Scott Schroen of Bentonville, AR; grandson, Nicholas Austin Bottoms of Van Alstyne, TX; granddaughter, Haley Shae McCrary of Plano, TX; granddaughter, Maddie Kaye McCrary of Stillwater, OK; great- grandson, Bear Travis Schroen of Bentonville, AR; and great-grandson, Huck James Schroen of Bentonville, AR. An Inurnment for James will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11:00AM in Court of Faith at Restland Memorial Park . James was a Korean conflict veteran for the U.S. Army. He was married 49 years to his beloved wife, Melvetta. He was also a founding charter member of KWVA Chapter 270 since 2001.
