I worked for and with Jim in Nice, France. Only today I saw that he has passed away in March this year. I wanted him to know that his and my long term Assistant Ditha Haddad rests in peace since three days/ She died at the age of 80. Dear Pat, I am sure you remember her as well. I never had the privilege of working directly with Jim, but felt like I knew him well from our occasional contacts. Jim was a well-known and highly respected member of TI's management team. We were so very saddened to hear of Jim?s passing. I worked for him and with him at TI for many years. He was a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with. He always had a positive attitude even during the difficult times. He was missed when he retired from TI and he will be truly missed now with his passing. One of my favorite memories of Mr. Hub was when we lived in Japan and we were always looking for Mexican Restaurants because we craved it. He heard about some place so we all piled in cars and caravanned in the direction of the restaurant. Well it began to rain, then pour, then his car died (I think it was his car) in the middle of an intersection. So the men in the three cars go up to push the car to the side of the road and out of the intersection, and there is Mr. Hubbard pushing the car holding an umbrella so he wouldn't get wet while pushing! The Mexican food wasn't that great if I remember– I think this was the place that put swiss cheese on tacos! That is just one of the great memories I have of Mr. Hubbard both in Japan and here in the Dallas area. I am so sorry for your loss Pat, Greg, Beth, Rachel, Vicky, and Bryce.
