Jan and I have been very close best friends since we were 13 years old and went on to being roommates in college and maid of honor in each other's weddings. She was like a sister to me since I didn't have one and I loved her as if she was my sister. I will miss her so much. I had been planning to visit her soon but she unfortunately couldn't wait for me to get there and I regret that I didn't make it so very much. She will be forever in my thoughts & prayers. Pat Cheves
We would like to encourage you with these words Jesus said:" Lazarus our friend has fallen asleep..I am traveling there to awaken him"…The disciples said to him "Lord if he is sleeping,he will get well" Jesus had spoken about his death…" ( John 11:11-13 ) What this shows us is God and his Son likens death to sleep! It is just a matter of them awakening our loved ones up. How encouraging! So very sorry for your loss.
