Janice Marie Beaubien's Obituary
On Sunday June 14, 2015 Janice Marie Beaubien passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones. Born January 12, 1933 in Dallas, Texas to Marie Ormsby and Seth Lowrey. Jan grew up in Lancaster, Texas on her family’s farm. Jan attended Lancaster High School, where she played basketball and was a drummer in the marching band. She graduated in the class of 1950 as Valedictorian. Jan continued her educational pursuits and graduated from The University of Texas, Arlington. On June 6, 1958 Jan married Derrill Beaubien. They enjoyed 57 years of marriage and had many adventures as they traveled the world together. Jan was a homemaker and then retired from Richardson Independent School District. Jan will be especially remembered for her love and loyalty to her family and friends, her beauty within and her graciousness of soul. Preceded in death by, Parents: Marie and Seth Lowrey; Brother: Jack Lowrey. Survivors include, Beloved Husband and Soul mate, Derrill Beaubien, Daughters: Dana Marie Beaubien, Janice Gayle Cloud and husband Robert Gray, Step Children: Derrill Wayne Beaubien, Vicky Anderson and families. Grandson: Monty Cloud, Sister in Law: Sandra Lowrey, Nephews: Clay and Wade Lowrey and families.
