My mother passed on her love of each season to me, particularly, the holidays. I remember as a young girl, she and I started to plan and look forward to it in August. Her love of her Christmas decorations, lights, music, food and making it perfect will be with me every holiday season. Her cooking was one of a kind and I will always miss her one of a kind peanut butter fudge. Although I would follow her recipes to the letter, my cooking was never as good as moms. She laughed with her entire body and would even make herself cry. She was often laughing at something corny us kids did 40 years ago. Her feisty spirit never wavered and her passion for all the people and things she loved was ingrained into her right down to her soul. My mother is at the center of many of my most treasured memories and they are the most valuable thing she left us with. Though we hadn't talked in some time, the world seems different without her here and will never be same. She is loved and missed tremendously. Until we meet again, mom, I love and miss you with everything in me.
