Jay A Nordstrom's Obituary
Jay Anderson Nordstrom, born December 24, 1948, in Kermit, Texas, passed away December 26, 2015, in Dallas, Texas. Jay was a Vietnam era Air Force veteran who cared deeply for veteran causes. Jay was also an avid pro-am racecar builder and driver, a founding member of the Texas Cobra Club, and a respected figure in the Dallas car scene. He is preceded in death by his mother Eva E. Nordstrom and his adopted father Sven Nordstrom. Jay is survived by his family, including his sister, Cassondra Foster of Garland, TX as well as his soul mate Dee Grant of Dallas, TX and her family. Services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 3:00PM in Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, with a visitation to be held prior at 2:00PM. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
