Pat Groenewold
Jean Ann was a wonderful friend. I worked with her at Rotary and even shared an office with her for a while. We had wonderful times together both in Evanston and at many of the away meeting sites. She was so very proud of her family and I loved hearing about Brooke, Janelle and Megan as they grew up. Being a great-grandma was a great joy for Jean Ann. Her sense of humor and joy in living were gifts she gave to those around her. I know that she is in a far better place now, not having to deal with illness and infirmities, but I shall miss her very much. Even across the miles since her retirement, she has remained a very special friend and one of the last letter writers left in this world.
