What a vibrant Christian Jerry was! I remember her from the days she was my counselor at Lakeview Christian Church. Since I'm now 74, that's been awhile! In turn, my parents became camp counselors for Steve. Enid and I would see Jerry (and often Steve) at "life events" through the years, mainly funerals. She greeted us always by calling us by name and giving big hugs. What an influence she has had on my life!

In the brief time I was privileged to be Jerry's neighbor, I never saw her without a smile or the spirit of joy. I loved her wry sense of humor, her quick and funny quips, her graceful bearing, her gracious heart. She leaves us having set a high standard for love and friendship.
