I only knew Jay a short time from our Bible Study with Steve Puckett but you didn't have to know Jay long to know he was a true Christian. I'll never forget the night when someone asked him....Why you Jay.....and he responded ...Why not me! He knew Who was in control! Amen brother!

One day the 3 of us were standing in my kitchen watching The Price is Right where the question was "if your mother in law was a fish which one would she be" and without hesitation Jay said "a mermaid". From then on I was his mermaid!
About 2-3 weeks ago the elevator in my building broke and is still not working. I told Jerry that the elevator was broken. He said if you want to go up or down the stairs let me know and I’ll carry you. I said who’s going to carry your wheelchair and he said Megan. I said that sense of humor is still in there and he said yep. What a wonderful son he has been. I love and miss you Jerry, so much.
