Jerry has been a part of the Pendergrass family through his friendship with our brother, Ernie, for decades. In truth, Jerry and Ernie should have pursued a career in comedy because together they were a "class act." I'll never forget the two of them coming into the house singing "Blue Christmas" (the Elvis song). It was absolutely hysterical. . .the entire family was doubled over laughing. On the day of Jerry's passing, I heard "Blue Christmas" and like to think he "sent" the song just for me.
Thank you, Jerry, for being such a great friend to Ernie and a blessing to every one of us. You will be missed!
