Whenever I mentioned to Uncle Jerry that "the meek shall inherit the earth," he always replied "I know, that's why I married one of them!" God keep you in the palm of your hand until we meet again dear soul!

One of my many favorite moments with my Uncle Jerry, was when both my brother and I contracted hepatitis and was quaranteened to our house. Uncle Jerry went and got the shots needed and came to Mom and Dad's to keep us company. They give the shot according to weight , and he ended up so sore he could barely sit. But he stayed with us for days. I will miss his "texts" just to say Howdy weekly, and the recent phone calls we were making to each other. He never failed to make me laugh. I love my Uncle Jerry, and know he is making my Daddy, Aunt Chubba, and Gran and Papaw laugh and smile while in the Lord's Mansion. Jody and Aunt Nona, I love you both and my heart is with you.
