I vividly recall a time when I was around 12 years old, and Carmie was diligently sewing a multitude of colorful Ewoks. This was during the 80s, when Star Wars had just exploded onto the scene and captivated everyone. I remember seeing Jerry Jr. riding his bike, proudly displaying a few Ewoks clamped to the handlebars. Meanwhile, Jerry Sr. was carrying an armful of them towards the car, creating the impression that Ewoks were everywhere!
Another year, we celebrated the holidays with the Randacks. I remember spending time searching for a gift he would love. We decided on Texas Ranger (Wildlife and Game) coins. Jerry Sr. was an exceptional historian, possessing brilliant intellect and articulate speech. He always had fascinating stories to share on any given topic.
Jerry served as an exemplary father, husband, and provider for his family. He was patient, kind, and deeply respected by my family and countless others. We will dearly miss you, Brother Randack. Thank you for sharing a piece of your remarkable life with us. Your love will live on in the lives and actions of your children.
